The Varsity Eagle golfers win one, tie one

The Varsity Eagle golf team won the one they needed to, as for their Garrett match-up, well that one was as close as it could get. The team scored a 173 on the front nine of Cedar Lake Golf Club to tie Garrett and defeat Prairie Heights by 12. Each team's fifth man score was 49, making for the first tie the team has had in Coach Arndt's four-year tenure. Leading the way for the team was Austin Corcimiglia with a 37, Nick Herndon shot a 43, Tyler Jenkins shot 44, and Brandin Ross and Jordon Schmucker each had 49's. The win and tie put the Eagles record at 6-2-1 overall, while they are 6-1 in the NECC. Good job Eagles!
