The Varsity Eagle golfers hang tough at Canterbury Invite

The Varsity Eagle golf team played a much better round of golf this Saturday than last. The team shaved 15 shots off of its previous week's score to shoot a 359 at Chestnut Hills Golf Club. The most impressive performance of the weekend was Colt Penner's score of 92. Colt shaved 35 shots off of his score from a week ago. Way to go Colt! The team was led by Nick Herndon's 86, Austin Corcimiglia scored an 87, Jordon Schmucker had a 94, and Brandin Ross concluded the scoring with a 99. The team will take the positives from their performance, regroup, and work to have a very successful month of May.
