Lady Eagles play well at NECC

The Lady Eagles traveled to Millersburg on Saturday morning to compete in the NECC Tournament at Timber Ridge Golf Club. The team knew it had a tough challenge ahead of themselves in the likes of Fairfield and Angola. Fairfield proved to be a challenge, however, Angola was not as they were beaten by the Eagles by twenty strokes. Fairfield won the tournament with a 341 as they look primed for a deep state tournament run. Fremont was second with a 397, Angola was third with 417. The highlight of the day for the Eagles was the return of Liz Carlson's outstanding play. Liz won the individual medalist honors on Saturday with a fine score of 76. Alivia Behnfeldt also earned all-conference status by shooting a 94. Honorable Mention all-conference honors were won by Joy Thompson who shot 107. Laura Dennis shot 120 to round out the Eagles' scoring.

Congrats to all the girls on their accomplishments.
