Fremont finishes tenth at New Haven Invite

The Fremont Lady Eagle golf team played better in their fourth invitational of the year by shooting a 408. The team had an outstanding contribution from Liz Carlson, who shot a 37 on the tough back nine at Whispering Creek Golf Club in New Haven. The team also had consistency with some solid scores by Haleigh Seidel, Joy Thompson, and Alivia Behnfeldt. Liz led the team with an 81, Alivia shot 107, Joy and Haleigh each shot 110, and Jessica Mofield overcame a 24 on the first two holes to shoot a 123. The tournament was won by Yorktown, which shot 332, Leo was second and Snider came in a solid third.

The girls are continuing to improve and are very close to breaking through with a big WIN. Speaking of which, the team is back in action on Monday night against Angola on the back nine of Lake James.
