The Fremont Eagle Golf Team takes the South Adams Invitational Championship

The Varsity Eagle golf team picked a good day to play its best round of the season in shooting a 333. The score was good enough to win the South Adams Invitational Championship on the par 71 Limberlost Golf Club. The team picked up the championship by defeating a field of nine teams. Wapahani was second with a 345 and Winchester had a 356. The team was led by Seth Robertson who shot a 71 (39-32 splits), which was good enough for individual medalist and one stroke from tying the all-time 18 hole school record round of 70 set by Chris Tilbury. Nick Herndon shot 81, Austin Corcimiglia shot 87, Tyler Jenkins shot 94, and finally Brandin Ross rounded out the scoring by shooting a 102. Great Job Eagles.
