Fremont Girls Golf Improves in home loss
The Lady Eagle Golf team improved on Tuesday in spite of a loss to undefeated Leo by a score of 203 to 195. The girls had to deal with plenty of wind and plenty of green speed in a loss that drops the team's record to 1-6. The team was led by Liz Carlson who shot 42 to take medalist honors. Alivia Behnfeldt shot a season-best 47 on Lake James front nine, and finally Laura Dennis is coming on late with a 54. The team is back in action on Thursday in a match against state-ranked Wawassee and Mishawaka Marian. Good job Eagles and good luck.
